Axel tramp

What is it please?

i know when it happens, I just want to know what it actually is :clown:

Axle tramp is when the wheels lose traction and regain traction constantly, like you've got too much power to keep traction, but not enough to spin the wheels constantly.

as above - felt as a juddering which (personally) i think is likely to be movement in the suspension bushes although lots suggest engine mounts

Makes a juddering knocking noise which as said is down to a loss of grip but not so much of a loss that you get constant wheelspin. Mine started doing it because my tyres were past there best.
