Yeah really straight forward to be honest. You would really need to try hard with it to burn through the paint due to its random orbit action rather than just spinning like rotary machines do. If you push down hard on the PC it bogs and slows down, do this on a rotary polisher and it will burn though your paint.
With a mild polish and a polishing pad you cant go far wrong. With harsher compounds and cutting pads you can ended up putting marks in though! Mine has cleaned up well just with various polishing pads and mild polishes, I have strayed away from rsiking cutting compounds and pads on a brand new car.
