B.A.R.C. Silverstone May 17th

Well today i made my first trip of the year up to silverstone, the driving conditions on the way and on the way back were awfull, loads of heavy rain, visiablity was down to a few meters at somepoints. Luckily thought the rain held off for most of the day. i also managed to sneek some pics of the new audi R8 v10 which they were testing on the other circuit.

cheers buddy, yeah the v10 sounded awesome think its the same engine thats in the lambo. Having said that they were still being beaten round the track by the nutter driving the audi rs6. he was going mental and throwing it around all over the place lol

Were you signed on? Some of the angles look impressive, I can never find half the places people shoot from at Silverstone, particularly on some of the smaller configurations which I assume this was on.

I love the group Truck shot, where was that taken?

most of them were shot on the outside of 'club straight', which ment in the gap between races i could nip across and get pics of the R8's on the other circuit at 'ireland'. the rest were shot in the grandstands at 'maggotts curve' and 'luffield'.

but your right the fences are a pain at silverstone

Cheers mate, I've never been to an event held on the National, that's why it confused me. Only been to International (where there is no infield access outside of Club Straight) or the full GP. Do you have to walk all the way around to

National looks good for photos (International isn't great), will have to make sure I pay a visit at some point when they are running around there.

nah mate you dont have to walk every where which is good there are loads of access roads which is good. i was nipping about all over the circuit in the clio. and didnt ever really park more than 100m away from where i was shooting which was good as there was a high chance that it would rain all day. there is a lot of space for parking at the back of the circuit.

Im going to be heading down there again for the japanese tuning show, there is ment to be drift and time attack on track all day on the 31st
