My alarm keeps randomly going off. All windows & doors shut. Last night it happened in heavy rain. Is there anything I can do to test?

Only way to lock it for now seems to use the 'lock doors' switch inside and then lock my passenger door (only door with external lock).

How/where do I start checking for faults etc.

RTFM.

When it goes off .. look at the flashing LED when you next unlock and see the number of flashes relating to the door, bonnet, boot etc... Start there.

Not sure.. there's about 1billion threads on alarm issues..

Get the flash count, then come back and someone will have a manual, or search on here. The answers are out there somewhere

Now need to wait for it to go off again! Happens once every few weeks, typically at midnight!

1 blink is doors, boot, bonnet have been openend or a dodgey sensor on one of them.

3 blinks is interior sensors.

There are more, but most aren't relevant in this case really unless it's 7 blinks, then that means the alarm itself is fucked.

turn the Ign on off twice before locking. This disables the interior sensors. Beeps 3 times on locking to confirm. If it still goes off then its not the sensors at fault.
