B&Q Soundproofing

I seem to remember someone on here saying that you could get something very similar to dynamat from places like B&Q. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is called and what department it is kept in???

i think i mentioned this ages ago, not sure which department but just grab a employee and ask for i think it was some sort of heat insulation, it came in the form of a silver roll. My mate used it in his nova sr to quieten down the noise of the ashley exhaust that he had on (horrible, horrible thing!)

Its highband flashing tape.



I used it on my nova and it worked a treat

Whats the highband about? Is it like lead flashing for sealing roof joints and stuff?

Dunno its like roof flashing tape, its bitumin based.

I could always have a look 4u and let u know how much it is cos i work in B&Q, only part time mind u, until i finish college.

Think it was about 5 quid for a large roll that i used to do all my boot and back of the car with (nova)
