Just insured my valver - which was 90 quid a year MORE than my Golf gti (which is a higher group) so not sure how that works!

Also they wanted an extra £90 to insure the golf for an extra month! WTF! so its now uninsured! great!

Im sure the insurance group of 12 on a valver is a bit of a myth anyway. If a car is fast and easy to steal then the insurance b@stards will always sting you.

some ins companies have the 16v in a higher group !

i know its grp 12, but the group varies like any thing !!

Valvers are rated specially sometimes, depending on company, apparently.
