the b&w would get my money i started out with the original 602 now i have some 603-s3 and 602.5-s3 and are more than happy with the quality and sound just make sure you try and get the series 3 speakers as these were the best they got before moving to the new 6** series.
just make sure you spend some pennys on decent speaker cable aswell to get the best from them, personally i like qed i have my 603's running on qed original bi-wire and the 602.5's running on qed silver anniversary...
but at the end of the day it all depends on which one you like the sound of the most is there any chance you could here them both before you buy them?

Dont know much about the DM's, but I have the S3's in surround and they are awesome.
