Back end seems to jump?!?!?!?

Hello, i have a clio 172 cup and when i go round a corner not at particularly high speeds but not slow either it seems to bounce out like a skipping motion and then grips again. i dont no whether this is normal due to it being a cup or whether theres a problem. any ideas?

highly likely to be one of your rear shocks is leaking! one of mine is leaking and i have to make sure im careful otherwise the backend starts twitching all over the place.

Check your rear shocks for any sign of leaking.

May be you shocks on the back have gone. If they are leaking fluid then they have gone and need replacing. Mine did this and that was the problem.

Def sounds like your dampers mate, mine is the same, talking £100 for the two at rear so may be worth considering some cheapish coilovers for another couple of hundred

take off the rear wheels and if the shock looks clean because its got fluid running down them there screwed.gives you the jumpy back end too and awful handling when left for a while
