You should inform them but i doubt it will effect anything. As far as we are concerned (Greenlight) we would just make a note that the rear seats have been removed.

If anything its less risk for the insurance company as you will only be carrying one passanger so if the worse happened they would just get 1 personal injury as opposed to a potential 4 for a full car.

If you are insured with us just drop me a PM and i'll make a note on your policy record.

Best Regards

No im not insured with you but im looking at renewing it soon, as i think im paying over the odds at the moment.

I pay £600 annualy but the car is under my dads name but i have my alloys insured its a 1.2 basic clio. I have been drving for 2yrs with no claims or points and my dad had like 25+ years no claims. Am i paying to much?

We only cover drivers with at least 1 years NCB but it does seem your premium is high.

I would expect a rate to be around £500 comp with 1 years NCB at 25 on a modded 1.2 clio.

so does neil work on commision !!!

No none of the staff at Greenlight work on commission. I come on to the forum as i'd much rather deal with car enthusiasts who care about their cars and know one end of an exhaust from another....rather than deal with basic run of the mill cars where the person just uses it as an A to B runabout and doesn't really care about it.

Because i'm into cars myself dealing with forum users and club members is often like chatting to like minded mates about cars. Makes what could be a really boring job interesting :approve:
