if u look from the boot you will see a plastic bar running along the back of the seats at the bottom.

this pulls off.

then u will see 2 monsterous bolts in the middle that need to be unscrewed. pull those out and jobs a gooden.

Is the weight saving from removing the rear seats worth it when you gain all that extra road noise? :p

Get them out!
In my PH2 the back seats with the bar
weighed 20 kilos, car feels much lighter now.

I put some carpet down and fitted an OMP rear strut brace.
When I put them back in for MOT time the car feels like Sh1t.

The noise inside will increase, but it depends on how loud your exhaust is.

Well i took mine out the original ones and then i drove it, didnt really hear much road noise the car felt quicker and more responsive though. Then i put some from an 06 plater clio in and they were much heavier. Do you need rear seats to pass mot?

Yer but they take up to much space which i dont have to store them so might remove seatbelts aswell its not that much of a problem.
