anyone used the stuff for trim bits on cars. is it any good???

some of the black bits on my 172 have some white suff from the previous owner that used some sort of wax on the car

i use either the spray or the wax type back to black

both are fine to use, but dont get it on ur paint

I like Autoglym bumper care. I use Autoglym Tar remover to clean and remove old polish stains from the black plastic trim first.

AutoGlym is qaulity no doubting

but back to black around bvy me is £1 a can, so i use that for my door strips

Its called bumperblack I think. Will have to check at home. If any of you have a bike the autoglym motorcycle cleaner is top stuff. Pricey I agree, but worth it IMO

Just go to halfords and have a look dude, theres loads of stuff. Autoglym is generally the dogs danglies. Ive just tried the shampoo and alloy wheel cleaner and there both top notch!

and do you apply it before or after washing and drying the car.



whats the best way to apply it??? paint brush or a cloth? so you dont get it on the paint work.

Get your motor colour coded! Lot less hassle, looks better, and will save you money on back to black (eventually!)

I apply the Autglym Bumper care with a small bit of sponge. They do another spray product called Vinyl and Rubber but this washes off a bit to easy in the rain though.

Bumper Care is thickish green gel rather than a spray.
