back to OEM airbox.....

Car  Schma Schme 1.6l
currently my clio 172 has a daft indution kit, simota carbon aeroform.... i've got hold of a OEM airbox, BUT i appear to be missing parts.

what i've got at the moment is the rubber elbow out of the throttle body into a tee piece with a hose that just goes to nowhere (should it attach to somewhere?) and then the tee goes into the induction kit.

what bits to i need? and where do these bits go? where can i get these bits from??

i know the rubber elbow at the moment isn't the OEM 1.

is the hose that doesnt appear to attach anywhere about 15mm in diameter?

If so it will be the crankcase breather, and will join to a union just beneath the coil pack on the inlet manifold.

interesting, how do i access this breather pipe union?

my thoughts are that i require the OEM airbox cold feed that goes under the airbox, i already have in place the one that attaches to the side of the airbox. i also need the rubber elbow that includes the crankcase breather.

anyone recommened a breaker?

cheers.

theres a little breather that comes up on a pipe from behind the engine. That plugs into the OEM inlet bend.
Then the airbox itself is held down my 2 10mm bolts and it has 2 air feeds. One underneath and one on the right.
Keep hold of the simota, don't bin it. You'll fetch some cash for it on here.

this is the cheaper Simota. The Aeroform is shaped like a trumpet and is genuin carbon, this one is'nt. Aeroform cost over 250 new , this one less than half i believe.

This airbox is nice for a 1.4 or 1.6 , but for the 2,0 it is too little (opening for air coming in)

i would agree with that

it'll probably end up in the bin anyway. ;)
