Evo 6 TME, Clio 172
Hi all, decided to join back up again as I've just bought myself a 172 cup as a daily driver after being sensible and having a Passat 4motion for a while.
Got the car reasonably local, 172 cup with 76k and standard needs some work but low miles and pretty good condition
-It's got an eml on, says lambda sensor, and the standard exhaust is leaking slightly want a new exhaust, preferably a recessed one
- Also handles rubbish, there's a slight clunk over uneven roads, arb possibly? But it tramlines really bad and just is a bit all over the place, so gonna see if there's anything worn underneath
- The speedlines are in really bad condition so gonna get them refurbed either silver or anthracite
- Possibly a induction kit
- Lowering springs, any suggestions? My last 172 had eibach springs on non cup shocks and handles and rode well, but this cup seems alot harsher on standard springs, but don't like the standard height
- Would also like a set of recaro seats, evo ones or something, had a set lined up but owner changed his mind just now
- Apart from that just tidy it up, with simple things 3/4 plate, tidy break calipers, find a front splitter mines missing, any suggestions apart from Renault?
Here's my old 172, stealth exhaust, ktec induction kit, eibach springs, and spacers, but was a bit rough, and was just a cheap project, but ended up wanting another after I sold it
