Bad idle since decat

  renault clio 182
I've not long fitted a scorpion decat too my scorpion system and when I start the car from cold for the first 5-10 min the idle is really bad then goes away after then and bangs and pops quite a lot during that time am fully aware that's what a decat does but is there any reason why it should be idling like this anyone experienced this problem before? Thanks

It done it before decat aswell still really the same as before except the pops in bangs which didn't do before but that's because of the decat am thinking? Just the idle isn't great but after 5-10 mins is fine was thinking sparkplug or oil change? What that help?

Yep the pops will be from the decat, like I said pretty sure it's normal, just overfuelling while cold, you'll notice it much more in the winter if you haven't had it during yet.

You need to purchase the device (RSTuner) and plug it into a laptop and install the RSTuner software to load maps. Henk now charges from maps but you will more than likely find one for free from someone on here. Its a good generic plug and play map and the RSTuner device comes in useful for reading fault codes at a later date, plus of course changing the map to another or back to standard at a later date if you want to.

Cheers buddy going too look into this more me thinks

I'd say it's 100% with it for the money, best money I've spent on my car, the lowdown torque & responsiveness you get it extremely good value for money.

Plus it seems I've a healthy engine, after coming 2nd in a Rolling Road against other Clios with similar mods :D
