bad mpg

Hi all.

Until recently I have been getting 34 mpg in my 172.

Now I am getting 24 - 25 mpg.

Using v power and tescos 99 ron.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem..so i gave it a good service and changed the sparkies and all is now good again...hitting 35-37 mpg

Service will sort it out, plugs, oil, air filter should do.

I am getting the same thing on my car at the moment too, only 28mpg max with normal driving. Daft thing is if i drive more like a loon i often see 30mpg for some reason.
