Ball joints or whole wishbone

My ball joints have got a bit of movement that im hoping is what is giving me squirmy handling, is it still a case of replacing the whole wishbone (78k 182 on originals) or just do the ball joints if I can find them separately ?

New arms are about £40 each and give you fresh bushes too, make a big difference if yours are quite old.

*price might have gone up since I last bought a pair, lol.

If these are the right part numbers for a cup packed 182 which I think they are then £50 from Renault Wolverhampton- 8200257956 8200257957.

Just bang a pair of balljoints on mate only 2bolts on the wishbone anda. Pinch bolt in the hub wouldn't bother with the wishbones they are a good design unlike most wishbones and don't often give issues save ya money

But at 78k and 12years might the bushes have had it? saving money is very tempting however but not ifor it's a half job

Correct numbers for 182,182 cup,172 cup & can be retro fitted to ph1 & 2 172`s

Thanks for confirming that, I searched on here and that's the conclusion I came to.

If I go cheap where can I get the correct ball joints ideally Renault, lemforder or good quality?

Your always better of changing the whole thing for new I was just thinking from a cost point of view if that's not an issue the defo change the lot was just with the way this thread was titled , get ya tracking checked after there fitted
