banging when revving engine

I just went out and started the car. I was revving it and it seems to clunk underneath when I lift off the throttle. It's as if it's popping/banging thru the exhaust or something knocking, but as the car warmed up the noise stopped. Does the 182 exhaust do this? Anyone had this before?

It may be the manifold knocking underneath mate, if your engine mounts are shot it will do that

it needs looking at to see what's happening. Guessing will only ever give you a long list to check anyway....so just check
