bar behind stereo on 16valve

got a kenwood and there is so many wires,how do i get rid of that bar behind the stereo,its like a stop and i am not capable of pushing the stereo all the way down.???

i got the same problem, have a look at the posts in the ice bit, they said it will fit but i dont think mine will go in a month of sundays.

Let me know if you find a way of making it fit cos its givin me the ump and i cant be bothered with it iv tried for hours!!!
