Battery powered impact driver

Hi all,

Just after a recommendation of the subject header really. Would only have occasional use just to assist with general car maintenance - nuts, bolts removal, etc.

Not airline/compressor powered.

Cheers,
D.

Very much depends on what power tools you already have as you could save a fair bit buying a bare unit to use the same batteries.

Is an impact driver enough to get a stuck bolt out you otherwise couldn't get with hand tools?

I actually read the title wrong and assumed he meant Impact Wrench.

Same rules apply though, pick a brand and you can swap the batteries around when required.

Are they both the same brand?.

I looked at the sessii 750 but ended up with a breaker bar instead, obviously

I have a cheapish Kieder one, I use it manly for wheel nuts as I'm lazy. Does the job great.

I'm just here to say if it's not Milwaukee then your wife is going to start f**king other men behind your back

Then eventually you'll be such a cuck she'll just start getting raw dogged right in front of your eyes to the point where she makes you finish the bloke off. Eventually you'll just transition and you'll be a woman

Buy Milwaukee for your own safety

Milwaukee are ok, my m12 one broke after 2 years and I'd already replaced a spring in the bit holder about a year before that.
I've got some 18v bosch ones that must be 10 years old that are still working.
That didn't stop me buying a new m12 one though they're just so light and handy.

I went for the Milwaukee M18 Fuel 1/2" gun, I snapped a 1/2" drive long bar on my XC90 crank pulley but the gun pulled it off without much of a problem. Unbelievable torque. Only issue I had with it is accidentally leaving it on max ugga dugga when doing up an M12 suspension bolt and it snapped it lol

Dewalt ones are shite shafts snap off.
Milwalkee is way better
Mines had loads of use and yet to break, probably more use than most of the milwaukee ones on here:ROFLMAO:

Id buy red next time round but for the average diyer occasional use prob not worth the extra spend over the dewalt
