I went to get a chip fitted for my 16v at bb the other day and once they took out the computer from my valver they realised after a while that they werent able to do a chip for me at the time. They told me that the problem was that my was a later phase 2 valver and the computer reg/numbers changed on these valvers and they werent able to do it. So now they have booked me in next week.
Could this be true? does numbers on the box of an ECU really make a difference to the chip.
I just hope they didnt forget to order the chip or something on that day...lol
