BC Racing coilovers

I rate them for build quality and the ride they give, was just interested in people's experiences on clios, as I know some of the other brands like gaz can be ok on other cars but the Clio kits are known for failing.

I thought this was Cliosport, not the Mitsi register.

BC Racing, BR series Twingo units should fit a 182 cup/Trophy as they are 60mm spacing for the front hub bolts. They are also come with AST style front topmounts included (which were developed from Clio1*2 topmounts) and have higher spring rates than the 172 setup.

At 20 clicks (out of 30) towards soft, they are so much more comfortable and stable over bumps than Apex springs or cup springs on Cup dampers and got a thumbs up for the ride and handling from a 182 Trophy owner who had a drive down a country back road. They can also be adjusted to very firm damping but thats not ideal for most of the local roads.

Congratulations, but its still the same company whether they're for an Evo, Clio or an Escort!

Indeed they are the same company and theres a few failures on the Lancer. Does that mean they are completely crap and every forum is littered with tales of woe. Or, they aren't built strong enough or the design suitable for the Lancer.
All coilovers will rattle and can be broken if abused. I personal dislike Weitec/KW as I had lots of hassle with Audi coilovers. I know Martin binned the rear dampers from his Twingo coilovers as they rattled straight away... Doesn't mean that there all terrible

Are you a reseller?

I've driven my friends Evo with them on and they knocked a lot from very early on. Went back for some revisions and still came back knocking. It's more than just the product it's the shoddy customer support to.

I'd stick with a well known, tested and proved coil over but hey, what do I know I've been in plenty of clios some with cheap coilovers others with expensive.

Most certainly not a reseller or anything to gain. Just happy with mine except I did have a knock at first from the front which was entirely my own fault for leaving a topnut slightly loose. Since tightening it, no problems.
Thats at least 5 133s with them and nothing bad to report as far as I'm aware.

customer support seemed better than some other companies trying to sell similar items who just couldn't be bothered replying to emails. Obviously that didn't inspire confidence in their long term C'S' so I went with BC.

Does anyone know if the Twingo Version will fit a 182 with the cup suspension?

Just on Kam-Racing the Twingo version is £200 cheaper...
