as said, shame we couldnt actually watch the drifting. Had to watch it from miles away which was a bit s**t lol. Would have loved to be able to see it much closer.

Was good that we were able to walk around the pits and get right up close to the cars though

know him from years back with the cruising/show scene, pretty good at skidding too.

and dont get me wrong phill is a wicked driver, its just... not really fair anymore, and i know in the jap d1's etc you get loads of 100k plus cars and then some 10k bangers... but phill is basically the only one running on a huge budget and he just seems to dominate to easy.

First time ive seen pro drifting, seen a few bits at shows like MPH and Autosport, but seen the D1 stuff on internet a few times, thought it was awesome to finally see pro drifting first hand. I love drifting now.

yeah im with team japspeed,

ant is one of my best mates...

the other drivers are mint, Baggsy is last years champion, Shane is awesome couldnt belive how much attention he gets tho, people bugging him constantly, Danny very tanlented and paul equally so

got to say ive never been to an event where every one gets on, very little bitchyness, just friendly competion sp*, all the drivers get on and have a giggle.

alot of the cars wernt ready, some didnt make it at all.

team japspeeds subaru killed the dog box on the 2nd practice lap.. gutting for baggsy
and Shane s15 V8 didnt even make it, luckly naithan lent him his car for the day seeing as he was busy getting married.

and no im not a secret ginger... i have freckles but they are brown ones.. and green eyes... celtic blood

really nice guy, tbh i wouldnt have known who he was if i wasnt told was never a fan lol but he gets hassarsed constantly.

i know if you go into that line of work then you should expect it but hes trying to work on his car n people come over asking for a pic with him.

1st time id met him, funny how people are with "celebs" his facebook account isnt him... he doesnt even have a computer, and some wierdo that comes to the events has all the same tattoos .. very odd if u ask me

LOL tbh the problem is, drifters or drift fans, are either geeks or just funny c***s...

therefore sticking someone like him in the middle of it is gonna get the piss ripped... if he didnt like it he could just tell them to f**k off lol... but he loves the attention.

how do you understand him ive sopoken to him a few times when ive watch my dad drift. his accent is to strong for me. and my moneys on simon perry this year plus hes in the skylineowners.com drift team lol

simon put in a good show. came 2nd, went to one more time in the finals. very good to watch .

although im not a massive fan of pink skylines haha

im waiting to see how baggsy is in the subaruuuuuuu
