Great pics Andy.
What camera set up are you using?
Also who’s is this Scim, I’m sure I’ve seen it before?
On a side note @SharkyUK.. when do you sleep? You seem to always be awake no matter what the timeCheers Matt.
Honestly... I am not sure how the hell some of these pics turned out half decent! I am using a 20-year-old Canon DSLR (EOS 40D) that is f**ked. The light metering isn't working on it, and the auto-focus is broken, and the multi-burst mode doesn't work. So I basically had to take each pic in one-shot mode whereby I had to half-press the shutter button for a split second, hope it would focus roughly where I wanted it to, and then fully press the button to take the pic!
I wanted to run a slightly longer shutter time to catch a bit more motion as I panned, but I was a bit hampered by the equipment, my ability, and the fact that most of my pics were too front-on. I think that's enough excuses...
I was using a Canon 70-300mm IS lens. Which was a bit stupid in hindsight because I forgot a friend loaned me his Canon L glass about 2 years ago and I still have it. Had I used that lens, it would have made life a bit easier and the pics a bit better. Never mind.
The EOS 40D is showing its age, working or not. It's an old (antique) sensor that is now considered low resolution, and noise management on newer tech is significantly better. But it can still take an ok pic with a decent lens on it.
