erm.... gulity as charged!! It was about 48 hours before I realised it had one lol! In fact I was cleaning the inside, put my hand under the seat and wrapped my knuckles on it! lol!

yeah i only worked that out after the guy at renault mentioned it last week, had my cup 6 months, lol. If the airbags are triggered it disengages anyway so that rescue crews etc etc can get u out if need be.

Turn the key in the ignition to the one before its actually turns the engine over (so all the lights come on) and off again 4 times and then get out and close the door and lock it as normal.

How do you switch the ultrasonics back on?

I work for renault, and one of our mechanics fitted a multi cd under the passenger seat of his car.
It wasn't until he p-ex'd it that we asked him why there was one under both seats! D'oh!!

The whole turning the ultrasonics off thing - can't it be done by just locking the door with the actual key in the passenger door lock, or does that just not set the alarm full stop?

Dont think that arms the alarm (on mine is doesnt even lock the boot or drivers side, lol).

I shiit you not, its like a cheat on a playstation game. The car will beep 4 times to let you know its worked.

you only have to activate the ignition twice, not 4 times. and it beeps 3 times not 4 times.

The raid system on my cup unlocks the door again when you get above 10mph, and locks it when under. Its actually annoying as the actuator is as loud as a loud thing.

I didnt know about the multichanger either, i only found out when i took the car back to the garage because the cd on the head unit didn't work and he said does the multichanger work ok and i said what multichanger?!!
Felt a right tit!
