Bedding in tyres

How long do new tyres take to get to full grip? Is there an amount of time/miles needed to scrub them up a bit?

I was thinking this too as iv got 4 new tyres on today...been caning it on the roundabouts and seems fine...!

alright jas? someone posted the other day that road tyres hardly need scrubbing at all, you only need to remove the wax! Although I swear my Toyos felt better after 50 miles or so?

I found out why they were terrible to drive on, the pressure was 44psi! Jesus, surprised they didnt blow!

OUCH!! You should have known better and had them checked the min they went on! Now go and put youre Dunses hat on!!

no need to scrub them in, they work from the word go.....

But they might feel better after a heat cycle or 2.

yeah, theyre all right now, I just took it out for a spin (with my hat with the large D on it!). Ill get some pics of my new wheels tomorrow hopefully.
