Behind the steering wheel

I'm going to be buying an OMP steering wheel (with horn in middle) and boss soon.
Before I do, what am I expecting to see when I take the old one off? Is it just a case of plugging connectors in or is it a bit more than that.
What happens with the airbag etc - I don't want the light on the dash.

Airbag will need resistors to keep the light off, or possibly be 'removed' using genuine renault software (speak to one of the specialists on here as they will know better). As for the horn I had to cut the connector plug off my original loom and then solder the new connection on, but I did buy mine second hand so can't comment on whether that's the norm
