Best 1/4 Mile times for std Valvers

I am wanting to find out what peoples times are in there standardish valvers for quarter mileing to see how mine compares?

I ran a 15.72 on Sunday at York and the the motor has got full K-tec exhaust system, inc de-cat, ITG panel filter, magnecore leads and its lowered 55mm front and 65 rear!

Think the 0-60 time is roughly 7.2 ish?

Any times welcome!

Danny

Next time ive got a free weekend ill have a blast! mines totally standard apart from a back box (i think!)

Head over to blackburn with a packed lunch..

my old one did a 15.5 with a decat, magnex and a viper. That was running on 16s though. Dan reckons he could have went faster, and that was his first go down the 1/4 so i reckon thats a pretty good effort

When it had the 1800 lump running magnex cat back, decat, viper and pbv my best was 15.8. Should be around 14.8 now with the 2.0:cool:

after a couple of 16.1s i ran a 15.3 at the pod with a devil exhaust/de-cat and a k+n filter,full interior etc,was fair chuffed with that:D

Im in the prosess of doing mine up, and my target is a nice 14!

Ive never been on the 1/4 mile strip before but im defo gonna do it!

At the mo im running PBV, PiperX IK, full S/S zorst, Ecotech valve, and stripped out interiour.

Ive got planned to change the PiperX to a Viper, get a stainless steel manifold, fast road cams (+22hp), full engine rebuild, chip and re-map.

...possible to hit 14?? or am i dreaming????

Daz - yer will definatelt have to a comparison sometime daz, when one gets arranged with the NW boys then make sure you get along!

There seem to be some really good times coming from everyones valvers lads!

15.3 seems very quick bill, a few of my mates tuned and not tuned williams were running that, what was weather, tyre pressure etc like?

Cheers everyone,

Danny

yeah it was a good run,my last one of the day-did 8,against a ford anglia,he smoked me on the first run,so pissed me off a bit then i got my 15.3 and whooped his ass:),weather was quite hot and tyre pressures were as normal road use,ill try and find my ticket

flippen heck adams, thats quick as well mate, was that before the engine rebuild?

Also what was your technique mate, what revs did u drop it at and do you do full throttle gear changes or not, as I dont really wanna do that, as dont want anything breaking!
