best aftermarket arial for a ph1?

whats the best short arial to fit to a ph1?? the type R ones dont fit from what ive read... feel free to post some pics if you want

i did that, it looks naff and is made from fiber glass or something so its a mission to cut right

I pulled the little cap of the top and cut it down a little at ago making sure the signal was still good, the pushed the little cap back on.
