Im looking for a CAT 1 alarm for the valver! I just want to know whats out there and what reasonably priced. Im based in East Yorkshire so if anyone knows any fitters around this area plase let me know.

What does the Toad ai606 give you over all the other cat1 alarms? Im getting a bit fed up with the one in my 172, I think one of the sensors is on the piss cos it goes off every now and again when I open the door. Im probably gonna take it back to reno and see what they can do. But on the past history of renault electrics Ive been thinking about getting an aftermarket system fitted.

Ive found quite a few of these Toad ai606 alarms on ebay. Is it possible to buy one thru ebay and then get an alarm installer to fit it, or do they usually insist that you have to get it through them for them to fit it?

no u can buy them on ebay then get a alarm installer to fit it for u ive done a few that people have bought that way also the renault alarm on the 172 is so s***e i dont know why renault bother

Yep, the toad alarm can control the central locking.

You can also get the dual zone microwave sensor thingy that chirps at people who nosy through your windows...
