Best all round tyre

The time to fork out for another complete set of tyres on my 172 is upon me again, not great so close before Christmas! I have heard the Goodyears are good, but currently on Conti Sports and have been perfectly happy with them, so just wondering if people thought the Goodyears provide superior grip in the wet at all?

I have the Conti Sports and I think they do an excellent job. I agree with Edde, stick with what you like. Better the devil you know and all that.

Cheers for the feedback guys. I like the Contis but have never tried the Goodyears so have nothing to compare them to. Has anyone tried both? Cheers!

Goodyears are great in everything bar snow!

goodyears are a much grippier tyre

but ma mate reckons the exaltos are really grippy

his is almost finished tread wise and he reckons you hardly notice
