best cd player

4 xmas i will be purchasing a cd player 4 my car, what make is the best???? i currently have the standard 1 in that i got when i bought my clio!

although this should be in the interior, ice and insurance forum, ill still answer it

depending on your budget, model numbers will obviously differ, but in terms of names to be looking for


alpine
pioneer
nakamichi
clarion (top end only)
becker
jvc
are all names to look at when considering sound quality as a major buying point, if you want max power influenced flashy lights etc have a look at


kenwood
sony
goodmans
blaupunkt
all these are personal preference from years of listening to car stereos

i just got a new sony head unit did have a alpine cva 1004 moterised screen with mp3 disk changer but now i got a cdx m9900 really good much better than my alpine unit

CAR AUDIO DIRECT HAVE A JVC OR A BLAUPUNKT MP3 CD PLAYERS FOR UNDER £90 AT THE MO - NOT TOP END BUT PROBABLY GOOD ENOUGH FOR WHAT YOU WANT

PERSONALLY I WOULD GO FOR PIONEER IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY I HAVE HAD MINE NEARLY 8 YEARS AND ITS STILL WORKS PERFECT (DID HAVE TO REPLACE A BROKEN BUTTON ONCE) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
