Best Gearbox for track use?

Hi everyone I have a Clio 172 cup just started using it for track only, I'm rebuilding the engine, however the gearbox grinds from 1-2nd gear so was thinking of renewing the gearbox, can I have opinions for other gear boxes in the range that will give me lower top end but better acceleration out of corners, shorter ratio?? Thanks

You already have the best option short of getting a different final drive from gripper.
