Well would you believe it? The missis is gonna buy me a pressie for the Cup and the budget is about £100.
Was thinking of a strut brace but which one is best for the Cup?
Or does anyone have any other suggestions other than a Strut brace??
Over to you.....

Apex are not the best for the road but lower the most.

If you want better handling then Sportlines loook then APEX.

I got 40mm apex springs on mine and running 15s as well the b*tch sits on the deck

Whats the best set up? Lower it 25mm front & 15mm back? 25mm front&back or 30mm front&back?
Do sometimes have to stick luggage etc in the car and I'm ashamed to say that the golf clubs are always in the boot.....does this make a difference to what set up I should go for?

Use her £100 + £30 of your own, then get some Eibach Sportline springs from YozzaSport.

It'll be the best 130 quid you have ever spent, I promise.....

Ok so here are some of the options I'm looking at..
Pi Springs 25mm front & 15mm back
Spax 30mm front&back
Ventura?? 25mm front&back
All around £80ish
Or Eibach sportline for a bit more cash depending on ride height??

How much does it lower it though?
What about fitting?

Expect it to be lowered about 20/30mm.
I'm afraid I didn't measure mine before.

Fitting is really easy, and if you ask on this forum. I'm sure someone will post a guide.
I watched mine being done, in fact I even helped. I was surprised at just how easy it was.

Failing that get the tools and i'll help.

If the £100 is to be spent on looks, or ride, or feel, any of the above options.

If you want to spend the £100 to actually go faster, have some training on a trackday - that'll give you more than a set of springs or strut brace ever will.

One slight problem...Eibachs seem to be the spring of choice but..
"Sportline Spring Kit Front 45mm - 50mm Rear 30mm Drop"
"Please Note: If you are lowering your car by more than 40mm short shocks are required"
If I will need new shocks then this is gonna cost way more than a ton in total.
Are there Eibach sportlines that don't lower the front so much?
Any clues peeps?

IMO if you don't want to spend a decinet amount of money I wouldn't bother with just springs just run some more camber and if you realy want some spacers on the front.
