best in door speaker options?

to keep the tweeters seperate without a whole world of pain, try to Pioneer custom fit jobs, just plug in to existing wiring, but require a lot of screaming to get the tweeters replaced (getting the old ones out is such a ballache I gave up thinking of changing them

alex are they expensive? and i was under the impression that i wouldnt have to change the tweeters if i just changed the front components? thanks again

I put Infinity Kappas in my doors but I think any upgradre requires you to cut the door cards, not even because they were too deep but too wide at the back aswell

if you stick to 13cm speakers you should be OK, provided they're not packing silly size magents. But, since you're running off a HU, no sense in having anything that high-end.
