Best paint for bullets, diamonds and mirrors?

Was just wondering if this can be done by simply going to halfords, choosing the colour and givin it a go myself? or do they need bases, laquers and all that? dont want it to have a cheap and tacky finish

If you want it to look good you will need to give it the full works with sanding, primer, paint lacquer. Otherwise it wont last and look terrible

DIY just use a 2K Clear to finish it off.

2K is even available in a spraycan!

What is the difference between 2k and just tin lacquer?!?!?

2K is fuel proof, bird s**t proof and ordinairy lacquer not.
(is it a Acryl based lacquer or a quick drying cellulose?)

2K has more body ie. for more shine.
Ordinairy lacquer looks good when applied but after flash time will end up dull.

2K hardens chemically.

In any case after flash time, heat the parts to speed up hardening and resistance.
(like tempering)

I got a bodyshop to lacquer my bullets, charged me a fiver, so it was alot cheaper and looked alot better than me doing it myself. I just bought some plastic primer and colour from Halfords.
