id get the 4gb slim, Its a much better console than the one above and it wont get RROD. i think they are more though (around 120-140 iirc) Maybe consider a used one on ebay?

Actually, mines been banned. Mine very old too, doesnt even have HDMI. Never had an issue with it. But id sooner pay £75 as I dont play the thing enough to warrant that price. Is it worth getting?

Just buy one second hand from CeX, they are cheap as f**k and come with 12 months warranty.
