Best place to mount a fire extinguisher

Abit of a strange request I agree... However, I have a 1kg bottle lying around I wouldn't mind sticking in the car.

Any ideas/pics?

Always a good idea to have one in your car. Electrical fires+car interiors can quickly get out of hand. Nothing would be worse than watching your pride and joy burning in front of you.

Obviously its pointless sticking it in the boot like most people would. Is the car stripped/does it have a cage? I have mine mounted to the front of the cage where both driver and passenger could reach it from within the seat. Just make sure its secure, could become a lethal missile in an accident.

To be honest a 1kg wouldnt put that out anyway im afraid, its still a great idea but if you've ever used one you'd realise its more of a puff than a spray.

If fuel is involved or the flames have built up considerable energy ( as above ) then your pretty much helpless.
