Best place to put a CAF?

I,ve just fitted a CAF and fed it to the upper grill, don't know whether to move it to the bottom grill?

Bottom grille it could suck in too much water when going through a puddle and also any other road shite which isn't good for the engine at all...

make a pipe up and locate it to sit on your roof, will look sik!
