Best power package for track?

Was just wondering what would be the best power package for a track car, was think throttle bodies, supercharger or turbocharger. Like the look of all ktecs new kits.

Totally agree with Fred I've spent loads on my car and would've been far better off getting some training.

Spend the money on track days first. Go in slow and pick it up. You'll be VERY suprised what you can keep up with in a standard RS when you learn how to drive it

Depends how far you really want to take it. If your building a track car which you plan on keeping as a track car then fully strip it.

I dont mean just take the rear seats out. Take everything out and replace your standard seats with buckets. I've got my 182 down to 940kg and it feels very fast.

Brakes and suspension are a good start too

My Ph-1 is 926KG with 2 standard front seats in.. with the bucket seats in it comes in at 886kg iirc?!

Both are with half a tank of fuel aswell!

Assuming you already possess Lewis Hamilton style driving ability, i would attack your car in the following manner.

Brakes - more stopping power = more confidence = later braking = quicker round a track
Suspension - a fully adjustable setup will allow you to hone the character of the car to your liking, we are all different, some like a twitchy rear, others prefer a more stable rear & greater understeer on the limit, etc etc. Other peoples opinions aren't necessarily that important here - its YOU that drives the car.
Stripping - lighter weight = instant bhp per ton (for free)
Engine - once the above is done, then play with the engine imho.

Remember on a clio, big bhp = big money

Well i dont think that ill posses anything near lewis hamilton skills, lol. have suspension and tyers, not really taking anything out yet but might start. Was just wondering what to go for once ive reached all required levels that lets me go for more power?
