As the title says, whats the best stuff to clean and protect the leather on a mk1 172 interior? Noticed that the leather on the drivers seat is looking slightly faded and want to sort it asap.

Thanks John

Piece off P£ss. Use the cleaner to ermm.....clean the leather. Then the conditioner to bring it back to that nice new look.

Works mint on my sofa :)

looked on some of those bottles in halfrauds, so many warnings of what not to use it on, i got worried and put them down. got out a cloth and water and that got the dirty finger marks off the corner of the front seats where people use them to pull the forward to get in the back. but i would like to bring the shine and smell back with something proper

But is pretty clean but needs to be restored a little, just where i must catch when getting in and out. Dont want it to get ruined.

Not been to impressed with the Autoglym stuff, used it for years but its seems they have reformulated it. I prefer 1Z leathercare, cleans and conditions in one, leaves the leather looking natural and not greasy.

Not impressed with Autoglym leather care either. Friend told me she use's same stuff they use for horse saddle's ect. Will try and find out exactlly what.

the meguiers stuff works a treat, just wipes on and wipes off. Ive been useing it for a while now and can recomend it, its the all in one stuff i use.

What sort of stuff do you need to stop the leather from cracking and whats good for cleaning the suede on the sport interior?

  172 cup'd extreme
theres only a small amount of leather in a 172 the sides, backs and head rests are pvc only the fronts of the seats are leather. autoglym is used by many a horse lover for their saddles i prefere turtlewax cleaner £6 and keeps it looking good
