any ideas how much i should lower my clio and what springs inorder to keep it as responsive as i can. i have 16" f1s on it

  172 Cup
i had h&r's on mine n still wanted it low when i sold them so went for apex 40mm, but the ride is dump. Id go for eibach sportlines, they lower the car by 30mm iir and is meant to be really good handling.

Chris you just posted that one cause your car was in it too !

Either way id save the extra and get a set of Coils you wont look back and go around 50mm to start see how you like the look

What you really need is a pic of a lowered silver ph 1 with 16" Oz f1s on.

My old one.

I ordered the Weitecs for my Mk3 and should have them next week....can tell you how they are once i get them fitted

  RS RIP
just mind the bumperbracket in the front wheel-arches..

I mounted H&R's how they came out the box (recommended hight) and i get scrubbing from these brackets.

You have to feel up and down the wheelarch and you'll find out what i mean , they stick out !

Not F1's but still on 16's

Thats on a Spax RSX coilove kit with fixed 60mm rear and the front is as low as i could get it

  Clio
nah some of these are too low, look at BTCC cars, set lower at front than rear but without scraping on the ground, this is to allow the rear end to move easier to help prevent understeer and allows the car to turn in better.
