best rock speakers

Hello People

Im just wondering if anyone can reccomend speakers that are specifically good for rock music, Im not too sure of the technical details of speakers etc, but it seems most of them are for more basey type music, i really just would want to replace the standard ones rather than having to cut holes etc

can anyone reccomend any good ones?

i would expect JL Audio components to be quite good for rock due to the fact that theyre very good for everythign else. with the proper EQ settings, you could get them to sound perfect for rock im sure. one bad thing is that they cost about £350 for the cheapest ones.

cheapest JLs are more like 130 for components

to be honest its more bout the eq than wht speakers if ya eq aint set up right even with the right speakers itll sound crap
