hi there for a psh1 172,

runnng ITBs
Billit cams
high spec headwork
182 exhaust manifold
peco 43 injectors
wide band Lambda

what has the best VFM and easyly mapped?

i will also be running a 100hp shot of NOS with a progressive controler. not sure if the ECU needs to work with that either?

Think NOS is plug & ghey and has nowt to do with the ecu, needs a seperate controller if going progressive

Omex, motech?
 
The ECU's not really the issue, all stand alone's will off roughly the same sort of package, it's how easy and well they can be mapped. You will get differing opinions from tuners on which to use simply because they can map one better than another... just go with the cheapest and most common imo. Omex or DTA I'd guess are most popular stand alones.

And a 100 shot of NOS? Hope you plan on rebuilding the bottom end before you put that much in it...

Its progressive not a one off shot... dump 100 straight in and I'd say she'll blow something LOL

the nos will be safe, ill be uprating the rods and pistons at some point,

the crank seems strong from what i have read up on, and a billit steel ones is a fortune! think its the rods that fail

Forged pistons and rods and uprated bolts should be able to handle a constant trickle of nos

Not that you would need it with ITB's and all that work mind...

Have you considered the compression ratio that you will be using with the nitrous?

Have the NOS pumped into the cabin instead and giggle your way to victory :D
You wont need nos with ITB's, cams, headwork and forged internals... its just overkill. Pump anymore power and you'd be running into gearbox and clutch problems. Christ it will probably chew clutches anyway lol

Anyway I'd get a motech so I could have one of those cool digital dashes. Still think NOS is cheeting tho and filling it up all the time will be a pain.

I ran a dastek and a KMS on my saxo, The dastek was s**t for some reson the map's kept getting currupt, but i had no problem with the KMS.
