Best suspensions setup?

Anyway where di you find them? Usually is more than 1000£

They have inverted front dampers right?

I'm going koni sport dampers and eibach sportlines as my car is solely used for country lanes. Any lower than say 30mm would hamper progress anyway especially on jumps and sudden compressions in the road as you'd risk hitting the sump or taking the front bumper off.

Fred has just suggested koni-eibach or kw v1. K-tec told me that they can specify different spring rates for the gaz, but it takes 2-3 weeks.

What is the effect on a koni yellow-eibach setup to turn up the damping and can it be done without removing them?

The KW V1 has only the heigh adjustment, i guess they are good on the road but too soft for trackdays...

From reading up on the konis you can adjustthe damping while still on the car. They say the softest setting is 25% stiffer but tillitry them for my self i can't really say. my mate had some on another make of car and they were great he used to run them on hardest and even then they were not overly harsh.

i would say V2's. love mine. not faulted at all, stood up to the horrible Nurburgring curbs perfectly fine aswell.

Hate to say I told you so... ;)

Are coilovers more delicate, like rust etc, than seperate springs and dampers? Maybe the adjustments can stick? My car is on the street every night, the garage is use for the nissan and the mini.

Not really, mine has now done about 36k with the H&R's fitted, never garaged and they're still fine and dandy.

I think i'll post a wanted thread for KW v1/v2 o H&R coilovers, if something comes up i'll have my choice.

They are top adjustable so it takes all of 10 seconds to adjust the damping. I wouldn't run the front on the hardest setting as it will promote understeer. I've currently got the fronts on the softest setting and the rears a 180degree turn stiffer. This seems to have worked well for road use.

I'm yet to try them on the track but I can see them being pretty good. Fred commented on how well the car handled when he had it in for some work so it can't be that bad.

I'm going for Eibach proline (more comfort than sport) and Koni Yellow, used with very low milage, 400 euros+shipping...i hope that the seller doesn't change idea! In a few weeks i should have they mounted, ready for the first trackday at monza!

I have Koni's on mine and Mark Fish has revalved the rears to make them firmer so I can make the rear stiffer to control the understeer.
I have currently got the standard springs on until my custom springs are done.
I have just had the suspension set today at -2.45' neg and 1mm toe out on the front and standard at the rear.
First impression is that it feels as good as my Trophy did but will know alot more after my trackday at Oulton next friday.

Shifts i'm going to get the whiteline arb, so understeer shouldn't be an issue.

What kind of springs? Stiffer, lower etc compared to the eibach?

Got a problem with some oversteer, caused by dirt and leaves. Let's just side the rear of the car got a bit too happy and I put down a road sign. It left its sign just after the right door... The suspensions are on standby.

You get what you pay for. I'm running kw v2's and a whiteline arb. Without the arb I was hassling 911's on track (the r888's helped as well!). Dan, was it howsers car you tried with kw's?

Hassling 911's!! clearly they couldnt drive them then! PMSL!!!

Instead of the suspension i think i'll buy some winter tyres (pirelli wintersport w190)...the damage is done but i don't like how the car handles on cold and damp tarmac.
