I haven't used a tv tuner for years. You not got Sky/Cable/Freeview?

Those plasmas with no tuner just have a board in them that will take a video input, so get a scart to single rca video, or to s-video and you're sorted. Put the sound into and amp and away you go.

Yup. A "TV Tuner" is just a device for converting analogue aerial signals into a TV picture but you already have that in the form of freeview. Just connect the box via a scart cable and the audio to a hifi/amp and you're ready to go.

agreed ^ plasmas and lcd picture quality is sh!te imo, we fit them all the time and ive yet to see one with a crackin pic, even panasonics arnt the best either, got to be a HD one, id prefer to spend half that on a decent flat/widescreen, picture will be 10 times better than any plasma
