best way to change heater matrix

i know the dash is out, bu im sure i read somewhere that theres an easier way than following the haynes manual! anyone know, been putting it off for months!

you dont need the dash fully out. you just unbolt it and pull it forward about 6/7 inches to give you room to move the heater box around.
