Mystery Connectors!

Still learning my way around this 172 Ph1, and French cars in general, so please excuse my ignorance! I've exhausted the mighty google, wiring diagrams, and even AI can't seem to help me.

I came across this connector sitting under the ash tray below the OBD2 port. Any idea what it's for? It seems to be a male one, has pins sticking out the other end, but there's absolutely nothing around that it would connect to...

Additionally I found this cable dangling loose inside the centre console, I'm guessing from the blue/yellow it's maybe the ignition wire for the passenger air bag, does anyone know if it connects directly into the side of the passenger airbag (in which case I guess the top dash is coming off? 😑), or is there somewhere else it should connect to?

I had wondered that, but the only active fault code is an open circuit on the passenger airbag, which with that blue/yellow airbag connector dangling around, makes sense.

Sorry I deleted my post as you already mentioned airbag so I was just repeating what you had already said.

The phase one must have different wiring as mine doesn’t seem to have that plug under the ashtray.

As for the other plug I’m not sure what it is.

Does the ph1 have a little light in the ashtray? I changed the bulb in my 182, about the only thing I can think of in that area.
