Best way to remove old wishbone bushes?

As above whats the best way to remove these bushes? I have no use of a press at the moment !

Got a vice and a big socket? If not if your near Swansea ill pop team out or you in work?

open the jaws of a vice, place the arm with the bush between the jaws, support as close to the bush as you can without gripping it. Hit with a hammer.

Following on from this, rather then opening a new thread, when I fit the new bushes do I press them in right up to the taper or do I stop further back?
