So not a lot has happened as I had a busy week with work and then the weekend got taken up with a heavy drinking sesh Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday (regretted that at 6.30am Monday morning!) but I did get some bits done. I’ve been meaning to clean my front seat belts for some time now as they were a bit filthy

so out came the washing powder and the vanish bar and I started cleaning

holy s**t that is one boring job I don’t want to do again. I don’t know if it’s because I’m fussy or if it’s the same for everyone but I genuinely was going to order new belts after half of a belt was done it was that boring and it took forever! But I finished it and gave the torx bolts a quick spray to tidy them up.

I then put them back together Monday after work once the belts had dried out and I’d sorted my head out!

looking much better and I’m happy with them!
I then dropped the oil ready to take the sump off this week! Any tips or hidden bolts with that would be hugely appreciated!

Hopefully get the engine bay finished this weekend and start cleaning the outside up!

It’s been a while! I got a new van for work which took up a weekend with me boarding it out and getting it how I like it and With all the nice weather we have been having and me not being able to say no to going out for a pint very little has been done on the Clio!
I have managed to change the sump gasket which was a bit of a pain mainly because I didn’t take the slam panel off and not being able to jack the engine high enough but after removing the slam panel it went a lot better! I changed the oil filter and filled up with fresh oil, went out for a drive and remembered just how much fun these Clio’s really are! All parked back up now ready for fcs! Just needs a clean tomorrow night, I’m not going crazy as my alloys really need a refresh and the body needs some paint ? but hopefully the alloys will get done next month and the paint work will be next year now once I have a garage for the car to live in! But for 13 years old it really isn’t doing to bad at all. Here are the some snaps
