Bigger brake discs

after ive put 17s on my clio, ive notice the brakes werent as good as it used to be, if i just put bigger brake disc (285mm)on with the OE calipers will it improve braking power?

Better performance pads with nice softer disks will do,no big mods needed

anyone know where to get ferodo pads on-line and mail order? im in singapore and desperate want a set of these...

There are a few of us looking at big brake conversions for the 16v at the moment. Choice between a HiSpec job using the existing caliper and up to 300mm disc. Or get a 4 pot caliper up to 300mm . Or go hardcore and start looking at Tar-Ox/AP/ Brembo etc.
